Edwards murray.edwards@theedwardsgroup.com Murray has a long history of owning, operating, and investing in very successful private companies. In the mid 1970’s he founded and developed a startup irrigation company in California. Subsequently, Murray returned to Texas and purchased the controlling interest of a regional animal feed milling operation, which he expanded into 4 large-scale manufacturing operations in three states. Currently, he maintains ownership and board membership in several private companies in Texas and California, and serves as a principal in Cape & Son, a commodity trading company specializing in cottonseed and other livestock feed ingredients. Murray also serves as a director of First Financial Bankshares, a publically traded financial institution. Murray has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Lincoln Edwards lincoln.edwards@theedwardsgroup.com Lincoln Edwards is the founder of Houndstooth Capital Management, LLC and an experienced investment professional. Prior to founding Houndstooth in 2012, Lincoln headed the acquisitions department for World Class Capital Group, an Austin-based private equity firm. Lincoln helped lead the fund to acquire over $100 million in assets. Prior to his work in private equity, Lincoln worked for Royal Dutch Shell, a top multinational energy company in Houston, TX. At Shell, Lincoln worked as a financial and marketing analyst to develop international consulting and technology licensing agreements with National Oil Companies across North and South America totaling over $150 million. Additionally, Lincoln has investment and operating experience across the energy, agriculture, technology and real estate industries. Lincoln holds a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Marketing with honors from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Rachel Pepper rachel.pepper@theedwardsgroup.com Rachel is currently the CEO and operating partner of IEM, an Austin based event and marketing firm producing and managing a diverse collection of events for both clients and consumers. IEM produces over 40 events each year including conferences, festivals, consumer shows, and nonprofit and government events. Rachel has been the CEO and Managing Partner of IEM since it was founded in late 2001, and has lead the company’s rapid growth including 4 key acquisitions and other organic growth and business development opportunities. Prior to IEM, Rachel successfully managed and produced numerous large-scale trade shows, corporate seminars and conferences including NI Week, the worldwide annual convention for National Instruments. Prior to NI, Rachel excelled in various capacities within marketing and public relations for ReplayTV, a Silicon Valley start-up company competing for DVR market share with competitor TiVo. Rachel is currently a principal with The Edwards Group, as well as a number of other privately held companies. Rachel has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas A&M University. JM Edwards JM is the President and operating partner of IEM, an Austin-based event and marketing firm. He has managed the company’s outdoors division and currently oversees the conference division. His experience includes advertising and marketing for Blue Bell Creameries, where he managed multi-million dollar ad campaigns and headed up a project to introduce the company’s first virtual facility tour. Early in his career, JM piloted an endowed research project for the National Grain Sorghum Producers; developing a complex data mining system and publishing a bi-weekly report on Texas commodity futures markets. He also orchestrated the re-branding of a boutique consulting firm based in Austin, Texas. JM has a Bachelor of Agribusiness Degree from Texas A&M University and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
